I enjoy being outdoors: walking, hiking, riding my bike, canoeing, kayaking, camping and playing with our five dogs. My first priorities are always with my husband, three sons, two daughter-in-laws, two grandsons and four granddaughters.  Life is Good!

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to act as a guide and to allow the child's natural curiosity to direct his/her learning. I want to develop in each child a deep love and respect for themselves, others, their environment, and their community. I believe in setting fair and consistent rules in the classroom to help each child develop and learn this respect, and also to help them become responsible for themselves as well as for their own learning. I will never forget how to smile, have fun, or laugh with my students.
