Welcome to the Special Education Department! My name is Kristin Knutson, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Special Education for the Hot Springs School District. Our department's mission is to ensure that every student with a disability has access to a high-quality education that meets each student's unique needs and empowers them with the skills, confidence, and support they need to live independently.
We offer a range of services tailored to support diverse learners, including individualized education plans, speech and language services, occupational and physical therapies, behavioral support, and transition planning.
