Our recent Elementary Literacy Night, “Family Reading Quest,” brought families together for an evening of fun, hands-on learning focused on the five pillars of reading. Families explored interactive stations that built phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while learning simple strategies to support reading at home. The night was filled with teamwork, creativity, and meaningful family engagement as students and families strengthened both literacy skills and connections through reading.

April 2026 Meeting

Dear Middle School Parents,

We want to be aware that state testing is coming up soon. We will be testing on April 21 & 22 (Math 6-8), April 29 & 30 (ELA 6-8), and May 6 (8th grade science only). Classes are reviewing concepts to help students prepare. We ask that you avoid any travel and appointments during this time if possible. Make-up testing is difficult for students and the school. We appreciate your partnership.

When testing comes, we encourage students to sleep well the night before and to eat a good breakfast the morning of testing. We want students to perform at their best. Doing so will inform our school about our approach and whether or not we need to make any changes.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thank you for your understanding. Monday, April 6th is still scheduled as a no school day for students and staff.
