Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 School Year. Please use the link below to complete the online registration. For any family that is unable to register online, a paper copy can still be picked up from any of the offices and we will have a registration table with computers available at the August Bison R Back event. In order to keep our information current for every HSSD student, we ask that students are registered each year. The registration forms for 2025-2026 include several items that have not been included in the registration paperwork previously.

Native American students from the Hot Springs School District have been invited to participate in a Pre-Nursing Summit in Rapid City on August 14-16th. This summit is designed for Native American youth (high School and beyond) who are interested in nursing. PARTICIPANTS: 5 students and one Chaperone per group, school, or organization. Incentives for participation include Visa stipends for attendance, travel, and Lodging for groups outside the local area. Local students will receive Visa stipends for attendance, and non-minors will not need a Chaperone. Chaperone Information - Every school must provide an adult chaperone if you are staying in the hotel. If you are local, please enter "Local" when you RSVP. Chaperones will receive Visa stipends for attendance, travel, and Lodging. The role of the Chaperone is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of each child in their care, with the safety of participants being our utmost priority. *LODGING is provided for our non-local participants at the Hotel Baymont by Wyndham on 4040 Cheyenne Blvd. (Hotel Check-in 3 PM) MEALS: Continental breakfast and two meals per day will be provided. Starting TODAY! Friday, July 11, The Hot Springs Rattlers is hosting youth baseball teams from across the state. They are competing at Butler Park in Hot Springs as part of the Class “B” 12u VFW State Baseball Tournament.
The Rattlers have a record of 26-6 and will play Parkston at 10am, Today, Friday, July 11. Other teams competing include Bon Homme, Parker, Scotland-Menno, Platte-Geddes, Flandreau and Garretson.
The first two days of the tournament are pool play. Bracket play will start Sunday. Keep in mind there will be approximately 300 - 400 more people in town this weekend. It is going to be a really fun weekend for ALL!
