Happy Homecoming Week Bison Community. My window is cracked and I can hear the band out on the track practicing. Now if that is not a great sound to get this week started, I don't know what is. Let's make it a good one.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful support of our CTE programs. Mr. Dryden was pleasantly surprised by visitors "bearing gifts" for the CTE program. Pictured are Julie Red Leaf (Construction Industry Center), Brett Kaltvedt (Midwestern Mechanical), Mark Notebook (Complete Concrete Solutions), and David Wolf (Western States Fire Protection).

Last call for grades 3-12th graders interested in drum making.

The HSSD Choir has been busy serving the community with their voices at a couple different community events.
On Thurs, Sept 11, the high school choir sang the Star Spangled Banner at the Staircase Challenge to commemorate the day when the US lost so many in the World Trade Towers terrorist attack. The students were there at 6:00am and they sounded great!
At 6:00pm Thurs, Sept 11, the high school choir opened the Patriot Day Dinner program with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner as well as the Armed Forces Medley for all in attendance at the American Legion. Again, the students represented our school very well.
Thank you to our choir students and our choir director, Mrs. Vande Stroet
