Our Hot Springs Middle Schoolers are amazing; this is a student-led project to show how they are thankful. Students wrote on leaves during their advisory showing what they were thankful for, and they were added to the tree. It is displayed in the Tays.

Look at this amazing group that gathered for the gifting of HSSD's new drum. Thank you to all involved but a warm thank you to David, Louise, Danialle, and Tom.
Please see the information about creating a Drum Group for the Hot Springs School District and its students. We will have two informational/practice sessions this upcoming Saturday and next Tuesday. We will then determine, based on those that attend, if an after school session or a Friday/Saturday session is better for those interested. We cannot thank the community and many individuals for their support of gifting a drum to the HSSD but also in helping teach our youth more about the Drum and learning to sing.
The HSSD is looking for community members that want to help out in times that our regular staff are absent. This flyer was inspired by Darren Russell's Veterans Day Program speech. We hope that this message is shared with those that want to make an impact on this next generation of our community. We are back up and running at the school. Back to "normal."
The school has no electricity, like the rest of town. Edgemont and Hill City both have had their electricity restored. We will make a decision on what we are able to do the rest of the day by 2:00.

The one team that is the busiest this week is our middle school girls' basketball team. The play Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. You can catch them in action both Monday and Tuesday after school.
