Hello Bison Families. Our staff is beyond excited to see students and families tonight. We are moving our event inside. Please use either Elementary door or the Admin door on University to enter. All classrooms will be open with teachers ready to welcome students so please do not forget to head over to the middle and high school too. Teachers will be in their classrooms from 5:00-6:30pm tonight. Our local PD and HSSD school board will be grilling and serving a meal in the Bison Center.

Our welcome back event (Bison R Back) is scheduled for Thursday, August 14th from 5-7pm. This is an Open House for students and families to meet their teachers. Teachers will be in their classrooms from 5:00-6:30pm. Secondary students will receive their computers the first week of school. HSSD Bussing, Athletics, Special Education, Title, Food Services, and Technology Departments will be available along with several community groups that support our youth.

Our Bison R Back event is scheduled for Thursday, August 14th from 5-7pm. More details to come, but this is a great opportunity for students and families to learn more about the school year, take care of any additional paperwork, visit classrooms and meet staff. We will also have several departments available: Transportation (bussing), Activities, Special Education, Food Service.

Student Registration 2025-2026
Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 School Year. Please use the link below to complete the online registration. For any family that is unable to register online, a paper copy can still be picked up from any of the offices and we will have a registration table with computers available at the August Bison R Back event. In order to keep our information current for every HSSD student, we ask that students are registered each year. The registration forms for 2025-2026 include several items that have not been included in the registration paperwork previously. An email has been sent to any parent email that we have on file. A text was sent a couple weeks ago to any parent phone number that we have on file.

July is coming to an end. Make sure, if you have not already, to complete the online registration for your student. Please use the online registration for returning students and new students. This will ensure that we have up-to-date information for your student. There will be computers available during the BisonRBack event in case there is a need.
